Do you feel like if you’re pregnant with a dream but nothing seems to be happening? I know the frustration too well!! But, I’ve also learned beautiful lessons that have, literally, changed my life and I want to share some of them with you.
I have learned - the hard way - that I will not be able to solve any challenges, situations and struggles at the level that they were created. I have had to be reminded many times that struggles allow me to heal and break free from old limitations that I have imposed on myself and agreements that I have made in the past; these, usually show up like limiting beliefs, negative thought patterns, habits and attitudes that are no longer serving me, and in fact, are actually keeping me small.

For the past few years, I have been learning that my soul’s struggles, if I’m open to see them as an opportunity, are just an invitation to take down every wall I put up around my heart, and reconnect with every part of myself that I shot down while I was growing up, so I can deepen my connection with myself and the Divine, grow and evolve. Also, these challenges will pave the way to understanding other people’s struggles, so I can be of better service on the planet.

If you really think about it, at the core, when we struggle, most likely we are trying to prove something, whether it’s to ourselves or others, that we are worthy and lovable. And the more we try to prove, the further away we get from believing in our own worth and seeing that we are unconditionally loved by the Divine, for no reason at all.
If we’re not aware of this, we get caught up in a painful cycle, because when we try to validate an external change that we can’t seem to make within, it only makes it so easy for our brains to find evidence outside that we are, in fact, not supported and that our life is a struggle. What tends to happen next is that we let doubt creep in, and give in into a deeper sense of separation and isolation.
So, I have had to learn to surrender to the idea that most of the times, what we feel as a struggle is in divine order, and has a meaning, because the Divine works it for us. It will direct us to the experiences we need to have, so we can learn the lessons we need, and release blockages that need to be released.
Also, another lesson I have learned is that when we choose to live on a higher vibration, everything that is not of that vibration can come up to the surface so we can clear it and turn it into a higher vibration. And we’ll feel uncomfortable, it will feel like struggle, but it will be part of our transformation.
The truth is that, even if we don’t see it at the moment, we are ALWAYS supported and guided, we only have to stop resisting and be able to trust the process and surrender. Even though we might experience delays, discouragement, frustration, I have experienced that without this being part of the process, we would not be ready for the growth and expansion that’s coming!

Challenges are little tests that we need to pass. This is when a lot of people give up and never give birth to their dreams. We just have to remain committed, keep doing our part, doing our best, because the little things that can seem insignificant can actually make a big difference. Even though on the outside things seem to be stagnant, on the inside, we’re growing and being prepared in the process.
I know very well that we can get discouraged by the process, but in those difficult times, when we’re tempted to give up, we need to remember that, like a woman that’s pregnant, there’s a process that she has to go through to have a baby. It may be uncomfortable, but it’s part of the process of bringing a new life into the world.
So please, don’t run away from the process, do your part and be willing to go through it, because we all have unlimited possibilities to become and do anything we want. We just need to be in-flow with life and we will allow ourselves to see synchronicities and opportunities that will lead us to follow our vision and purpose, if we’re open to see it.
I invite you to share with me, what have you learned from your own struggles?

I love the perspective that are struggles are things that come up to the surface as we step into higher vibrations. That is such an empowered way to look at struggles and not fall into the cyclical victim role.

I appreciate being reminded that our dreams are seeds and wouldn’t be gifted to us unless they were to sprout and grow! And I trust and KNOW our dream seeds are sprouting for INTENTIONAL LIVING WEBINARS every New Moon! wooohoooo! Or should I howwwwwl? lol

Struggle creates perseverance, perseverance creates character, character creates hope. (paraphrasing one of my husband’s favorite bible verses, Romans 5). Without the intense struggle I went through 14 years ago, I wouldn’t be who I am now <3

Thanks for this reminder to not run away from the process. I needed to hear this since my process has been a rather lengthy one. Any day now, right? Thanks again for your inspiration! <3

I appreciate this message of hope and perseverance your offer Patricia:
“Don’t run away from the process, do your part and be willing to go through it, because we all have unlimited possibilities to become and do anything we want. We just need to be in-flow with life and we will allow ourselves to see synchronicities and opportunities that will lead us to follow our vision and purpose, if we’re open to see it.”
I was talking to a 30 year old friend today who is in transition from the Navy to civilian life and looking for work. He’s frustrated and a bit worried re: caring for his family. I’m forwarding this.

I try to follow Louise Hay’s advice that every problem has a solution and to see it as not a problem, but a challenge that offers me the opportunity to learn and to grow.

This post so resonates with me, Patricia. And I agree that if we get an idea in our hearts - we will be given the opportunities to fulfill that idea.
