Take the easy way…Give your Dreams a Chance!

By Patricia Young

Have you ever considered the option of taking the leap of faith and decide to take massive action to follow your dreams…your call, your excitement?

Do you think your life would be easier or more difficult and overwhelming?  Have you ever really thought about what the outcome could be if  you followed your dreams ?   would your life be easier, more meaningful?  or would it be more stressful? would you feel more joy and a sense of purpose?

It is very well known, that the level of happiness, success and fulfillment  in people that follow their dreams, is way higher compared to those that just let life dictate the terms to them.

It’s hard for most of us to make the decision and take the leap, because most likely, we grew up in an environment in which we were told what was best for us, our families, teachers, etc, with their best intentions, tried to protect us by deciding what was better for us.  Stepping out of the comfort zone triggers fear and uncertainty.

In order for us to have a happier, more meaningful and more successful life, we need to believe in ourselves and take action. Success doesn’t just happen, you have to create it with actions!  Success doesn’t happen when you don’t feel it as your obligation and your right, that you owe it to yourself.

There are plenty of  chances, success is not restricted to a few people only. Thinking that will limit your ability to create success for yourself. There are enough opportunities out there to live your dreams, but you will not be able to see them if you don’t have the right mindset, and don’t see the potential that lies inside of you. Believe in yourself!

What if, by living your dream, your life would be better? what if your fears are playing a trick on you? Don’t live forever with the “what If”. Trust yourself! Your life will be better, you will feel more excitement, you would be who you came here to be.  Every day, we create and re-create our lives with the choices we make.

What’s your choice, living to achieve your own dreams or living to being used to achieve someone else’s? Are you creating your life by intentional design or by passive chance?

To never give your Dreams a chance is your biggest failure!   So start setting up a plan, and take the easy way…Give your dreams a chance!  Take the first step, that’s all you need to start the journey!

Check out the link below, let me help you get from where you are today, to where you want to be!

LET’S WORK TOGETHER!

It really takes a lot to believe that all of the dreams and goals out there are not just for someone else. They are for YOU too. Even if the right opportunity is not here right now, I can create it. That’s what I love so much about this post is the power of the passion that you have. Outside of the comfort zone is where all of the dreams happen!

We are always at choice — even not making a choice is a choice. I agree — live your life intentionally.

I can only say it’s the perfection of the moment! If my life wouldn’t have crashed I would not have pursued my dreams. I had to be knocked over my head to be willing to believe in my dreams. I think we all can do it if we can overcome the fear of doing something new, the fear of success, or whatever fear it is.

Patricia - I appreciate the power in your thought and action provoking questions, my mom always said “Think Big” - but it was in the context that I was small as a kid now considered petite, I have made my own deeper meaning of “Think Big” to mean believe in myself and don’t be afraid to dream big and live those big believing dreams! Thank you :-)

I love the timing of your post, Patricia! ~ I’ve been working this week with a group of clients, guiding them into new beginnings that involve stepping out of their comfort zones and taking big leaps. ~ I’m looking forward to watching their dreams become their reality. :-)

Patricia, your wording of “intentional design” or “passive chance” sparks us into examining our choices.

Girl.. I took that leap. I had to leave VA to move to Tx with my beau and find a job… which I couldn’t find something close and took that leap to do what I have hemmed and hawed for a few years… welp, nothing like kind of having a heavy hand on your backside pushing you.. right? It’s been a great decision and glad I did it. Thanks!

Loved this post, Patricia. It made me feel like what I’m doing is the right thing by finally going after my dreams. I went to college for something that doesn’t interest me that much and I work in a job that I don’t like at all. That’s over 16 years of living someone else’s dream. I can’t wait for the day I can work on my dreams full time!! :) Thanks again for such an inspiring post!

I love your article, Patricia. Indeed, success doesn’t just happen. It takes a lot of guts, hard work, and filling yourself with the right mindset to be able to succeed.

If you dont act on your dreams then you never know. I love Wayne Gretzky’s quote You fail at 100% of the shots you never take! Great post!
